ABOUT ME
I am a dedicated and passionate game designer and programmer with extensive experience in the Unity Game engine, 3DS Max modelling software, Blender, as well Android Studio. My key coding skills are in C#, C++, Java, and MySql. However, I am a fast learner and adapt quickly to new working environments and software platforms.
In addition to building several complex projects during my academic career, I have participated in at least three Game Jams (48-hour marathon end-to-end game design and coding competitions). Quick to learn, flexible and always ready to collaborate, I am ready to tackle any problem I encounter with determination to achieve a positive end-result. Working well both independently and as a team player, I am ready to contribute positively to the design and production of new and challenging games. Meeting with the design/animation team to discuss game ideas and specifications.
Creating quick prototypes based on game ideas by planning and implementing game functionality and building game code in Unity.
Receiving artwork and assets from the design/animation team and implementing them into the game.
Implementing feedback and creating new iterations of the games based on the feedback received from the studio and game testing community.
Identifying and fixing vital game-play bugs.
Exporting web and desktop builds for our website, itch.io and other platforms.

This course covered a wide variety of Game Development topics: 3D Modelling, programming Logic, Unity Game Design and Programming, narrative design, database creation and handling, to Java development in Android Studio. The course has helped me develop the skillset required to thrive in one of the most exciting, lucrative, and fastest-growing industries.
It has equipped me with the necessary skills to pursue a career in creating digital games for different platforms, from home consoles and computers to newly established platforms, from home consoles and computers, to mobile phones and other hand-held devices. As a graduate I am qualified in both the programming and creative aspects of designing and developing games, as well as physical game creations be it card games or board games. This course also equipped us with the necessary knowledge to market our games teaching us Branding.
